Our international students have an option of living in either a dorm or with a host family. We have five small dorms (two for girls and three for boys) and about 32 host families in our local community. Tuition is the same whether a student chooses a host family or a dorm. Our dorms close for the Christmas break but that is the only time they close. They are open for all other school vacations and holidays. During the Christmas break we offer a chaperoned trip to Florida. There are about 20 international students going to Florida this year. There is an extra cost for this trip, around $2000. Otherwise, students like to go home for the holiday break. Some students are invited by their host families to stay for the Christmas holiday and share the holiday with the host family. We do not require our host families to take international students during the Christmas break but many of them offer to take students.

Expectations for students:
We have an excellent college preparatory program so students are very well prepared to go on to college. We are always looking for students who want to study in the US and really immerse themselves into the school and the local culture. Our most successful students are the ones that are involved in either clubs, sports, or school activities like performing arts, dance, or theater.
